Biography

Abraham Lord was born in 1818 in Bury, Lancashire, England, the son of Rachael Taylor and Abraham Lord.^[1]

He married Sarah Ainsworth on 26 February 1837 at Bolton Le Moors, Lancashire.^[1] Their children were:^[1]

• Sarah Ann Caroline Shortis Lord (1845–?)
• Thomas Ainsworth Lord (1847–1921)
• James Henry Lord (1854–1921)
• Mary Jane Lord (1857–1929)

Abraham died on 19 December 1882 in Junee, New South Wales, Australia, and is buried with Sarah at Old Junee Cemetery. ^{[2] [3]}

Research notes

I was unable to find a 1882 NSW death record for Abraham in a search conducted on 21 December 2019.^[4]

Sarah Lord was named as the sole executor in the will, but as she predeceased him, son James Henry Lord, a farmer of Junee, was granted probate. ^[2]
