The former source gives his birth date as 6 Apr 1778, the latter source has the date as 21 Apr 1778 and names him as the twin brother of Betsey Livermore, who died at the age of 1.[1][2] His parents' last child was recorded in Waltham, Massachusetts, in 1770, and they settled permanently in Livermore in 1779.
