Dora was living in Candor, Montgomery County, North Carolina, at the time of her passing on 30 April 1963 in Pinehurst, Moore County, North Carolina. She was buried in Ellerbe Cemetery, Richmond County, North Carolina. Candor Funeral Home made the arrangements.[4]

↑ She is enumerated on the #1900 Census in the Aaron Little Family as Dora A, female, born Nov 1888, age 11. Her #Death Certificate lists her date of birth as 17 November 1887. Using the oldest document found to this date (13Dec2015).
↑ The Final Accounting pages in the Will of #Aaron Little states that "Giving each heir half the amount state above ... Mrs J. T. Helms ... Mrs J. C. Williams." Each woman signed a receipt for their portion using only their married name. The Administrator of the estate was J. C. Williams (probably John Caldwell Williams, his son-in-law).
↑ Their license was issued on 11 July 1904. James Troy Helms, age 21, of New Salem and Dora Little, age 19, of Goose Creek. They were married by J. E. Williams at his residence.
