I’ve not heard back from you regarding the 1776 Project check-in so have gone ahead and removed you from the project for now.

If you’d like to rejoin at any stage you would be most welcome to do so by answering the G2G sign-up post here

Many thanks,

Betty -- 1776 Project Leader

Hi,

I sent you a check-in message several days ago about the 1776 Project to ask you about your past and continued involvement but have not yet heard back from you. Do you still want to be in the project?

If I don’t hear from you in a week or so, I’ll assume that you’ve moved on to other things, but you’re most welcome to re-join the project at any time.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Best wishes,

Betty -- 1776 Project Leader

Hello,

It's time for a 1776 Project check-in! Please respond within the next two weeks to let me know if you want to continue as a member of the project. We'd like to know:

  • If you are on the right team or if you'd like to make a change. It's a requirement that every 1776 Project member is a part of one of the project's teams, so if you're not assigned to a team, let us know which team you'd like to join.
  • What you think the project is doing well, and what changes you'd like to see us make?

Please respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message on WikiTree. If we don’t hear from you within two weeks, we will assume you are no longer interested in participating in the 1776 Project, and your badge will be removed. If you wish to reapply for membership later, we will be happy to have you back.

Many thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Hello,

I am checking in on behalf of the 1776 Project to announce the new project membership requirements and to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. All project members are being asked to join one of the project teams and also to make at least one project contribution every 6 months. We are also asking all project members to join the project's Google Group for project communications.

If you are interested in remaining with the Project, please reply to this comment or send me a message, request to join the Google Group, and let us know what team you would like to participate on.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.

If we don't hear back from you we will assume that you no longer wish to participate in the project and if so, you could rejoin at any time as is convenient for you.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi, In the profile for Elmer Alden (Alden-1667) Martha Peterson is linked as his father while Hiram Alden is linked as his mother. Can you please swap them around to their proper mother and father relationships with Elmer? Thanks!

Thank you so much for adding the photo of Almon Sebolt with his parents Marion & Olive. My mom will be thrilled to see a photo with her father and grandparents.

I found where http://www.wikitree.com/photo/jpg/Allen-6073-2 came from. The image is not in the public domain, so I've removed it from Wikitree.

Likewise this one http://www.wikitree.com/photo/jpg/Allen-6073-2 This looks like a picture of a painting but I can't find the original to see when it was done.

Hi, you posted a photo to Ethan Allen's profile (the one of the statue) Where did the picture come from. Is it in the public domain? I've hunted around, found it on pinterest, but that says nothing about the photo. If the photo is not in the public domain it needs to be removed from the profile.

Hi, I have to say that's an interesting story about Elijah Alden. I enjoyed reading it. Elijah's profile was nominated for the "old" Profile of the Week, and he fits the criteria for that quite nicely. The "new" Collaborative Profile of the Week

http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Collaborative_Profile_of_the_Week is something entirely different. Your profile of Elijah Alden, since he's been put together by you already would not qualify for the new Collaborative Profile.

When you're done with it, if you want to just show it off, post a question in the G2G to show it off.

Thanks for your note.
