Percival was born in 1870. He was the son of Robert Lindsay and Jane Williams.
Percival (Percy) Charles Lindsay was a noted Australian landscape painter, illustrator and cartoonist, born in Creswick in the colony of Victoria, in what would later become Australia.
On 23 March 1907 at Collingwood in Victoria he married Jessie Hammond, daughter of a Creswick storekeeper[1]
