Hello Anne,

Your question about the existence of a project for early settlers to what is now Quebec was forwarded to me. The project to answer your question is Quebecois project, which you will find at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Quebecois

Be aware that there are already a whole lot of the early settlers in the tree, and since we only want one profile per person, you should do a search before adding people prior to around 1750.

Hello, Anne! I believe you are right that Randel-48 and Randel-82 represent the same person and should be merged. However, I'm a bit concerned about the parents. It has been worked out that Moses' father Joseph was not the Joseph Randel from Bucks County, PA (of which there was another of similar age). Also, he had no middle name of John. Additionally, the mother of Moses is only known to be Ann. An additional name and last name have no backing with sources as of yet. I'll be happy to merge but just wanted to address these issues since we should probably merge Limberger-7 with Unknown-258748 and Randel-41 with Randel-99. Thank you for your work discovering this merge!

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
