Helen Madeline Leys (1892-1965) was a British Academic and novelist, who wrote under the pseudonyms Eleanor Scott and P.R Shore. She was the daughter of John Leys and Ellen Holligan. [1][2][3]
In 1901, Helen was living at Richmond Villa, Hampton, Middlesex with her parents John Kirkwood Leys (Novelist Author) and Ellen Leys, and siblings Mary Dorothy Rose, Colin Maclaren, Duncan Gerald, John Alan Leys and a visitor Caroline Holligan (Aunt).[4]
In 1911, Helen was living at Park View, Sands, High Wycombe, West Wycombe, Bucks, with her mother and siblings.[5]
In 1939, Helen was living in Bath, Somerset with her mother Ellen Leys and her sister Mary Dorothy Rose Leys. Her occupation was Travelling Lecturer.[6]
Helen died 15 Mar 1965 and was buried at St. Margaret and St. Andrew Churchyard, Littleham, Devon.[7]
