"From his father the younger Roger inherited seven knights' fees in Kent and Oxfordshire held from Margery de Revières, heir of Warin fitz Gerold. This was supplemented by his mother's share of the Thornham inheritance. He was also heir to debts owed by his father both to Jewish moneylenders and to the crown. Roger remained liable for the latter until 1253, when the debt was cancelled by Henry III while Roger was in Gascony in the king's service. " (Ref: ODNB)

Research Notes
Some pedigrees show Desiderata as a daughter of this Roger, however recent research by Douglas Richardson appears to confirm that she was the daughter of William Leybourne and Juliana Sandwich. [10]

I'm confused, because you state that he married secondly Eleanor Ferrers and they had issue 1. Desiderata[7], but when you click on the link for Desiderata, it has her mother listed as Juliana Sandwhich and her father as William Leybourne. Which is correct?
