Biography
Johann Hubert Ley was born in 1833 in Adenau, Rhineland, Prussia as the son of Johann Hubert Ley and Anna Holzen.
At the age of 26, he married the 24-year-old Maria Gertrud Tilkes a.k.a. Tillges on 20 Jan 1859 in Mönchengladbach (civil marriage), Rhineland, Prussia.
He died before 30 May 1864 because on that day his wife remarried.
