Biography
Edith (Lew) White is a part of US Black heritage.
Edith was born in 1867. Her parents were James Adrastus Lew Jr. (1844-abt.1925) and Susan Amanda (Talbot) Lew (abt.1844-1935). In the 1870 census Edith (age 2) was in Groton, Middlesex, Massachusetts, United States.[1]
Edith (age 21), daughter of James E & Susan, married Frederick Perry White Sr. (1861-1940) (age 28) on 6 June 1889 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States.[2]Edith and Frederick had four children. The lived in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
At the time of the 1900 census Edith (age 33) was the wife of Frederick White in Cambridge, Middlesex, Massachusetts, United States.[3]Edith and Frederick had two children living in the household. Edith's parents and a sister were also living in the home.
Edith, daughter of James A Lew & Susan Talbot, died (age 46) on 18 March 1915 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States.[4]
