Biography

Giuseppe Harold Reginald (Joseph) Levis was born on 20 July 1905 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, the son of Albert Levis and Rosa Finocchietti. ^[1]

When the 1910 census was ennumerated, he was four years old and living with his parents and four older siblings on Hull Street in Boston's Nort End. His father was born in Italy and had come to the United States 19 years earlier, at the age of 22. He worked as a marble dealer. His mother was born in Massachusetts to Italian parents. ^[2]

He married Yvonne Rodriguez of Havana, Cuba on 10 Jun 1939. ^[3]

He died on 20 May 2005 ^[4] in Brighton, Massachusetts. ^[5]
