Biography
Nancy Lever, the daughter of Thomas and Margt. Lever, was baptized at St Peters, Bolton-le-Moors, Lancashire, England, on 26 Feb 1843. The family lived in Great Bolton.[1]
Nancy Lever and James Rostron were married at Astley-Bridge, Lancashire, on 19 June 1867. Nancy was the daughter of Thomas Lever.[2] James was a cotton-waste dealer, and his father, Henry Rostron, was a dyer. Thomas Lever is shown as a cotton-waste dealer. The marriage ceremony was performed by license by A. Birlsey, with witnesses Wm. Mather and J. Heskett.[3]
