Catherine Gillan Leslie was born on July 12, 1821 in Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom.
Catherine married George Smith (born on June 20, 1819 in Old Meldrum, Aberdeenshire, Scotland) on December 30, 1842 in Old Machar, Aberdeenshire. [1]
In the 1851 census Catherine (age 29) was the wife of George Smith at 9 Mounthooly, Aberdeen Greyfriars, Aberdeenshire.[2]
Their son was Lewis Anderson Smith (1865–1934).
In the 1871 census Catharina (age 49) was the wife of George Smith at 3 Hutcheon St, Aberdeen St Nicholas, Aberdeenshire.[3]
In the 1901 census Catherine (age 79) was the wife of George Smith at 142 Blenkeim Pl, Aberdeen Rubislaw, Aberdeenshire.[4]
Catherine died on March 31, 1908 in Aberdeen, aged 86.[5]
