Biography
Jean Louis was born in February 26, 1752, the son of, François Lemere and Josèphe Boisverd. He was baptized at Forges-du- St-Maurice, Nouvelle France on that same day and was given the name Jean Louis Lemere. His god parents were Jean Baptiste Boisverd and Louise Pepin. [1]
On August 16, 1774 at St- Antoine-de-Padoue in Baie-du-Febvre, Quebec, Jean Louis Lemere (Age 22), the son of François Lemere and Marie Josèphe Boisvers, married Marie Louise Marotte (Age 22) , the daughter of François Marotte and Elisabeth Champagne. [2]
Sépulture In Baie-du-Febvre (St-Antoine-de-Padoue) on September 24, 1826, Jean Lemaire, the husband of Marie Louise Labonte, passed away and was buried the next day. He was 78 years of age. [3]
