My name is John Kingman. I am a Coordinator with the WikiTree DNA Project.
If you are interested in how you can use DNA test matches with your relatives to strengthen your genealogy on WikiTree, please check out my Welcome to WikiTree and DNA page.
I really believe in the potential of DNA to find missing links in a tree. I've already joined the project without knowing it by adding DNA in my followed tags!
Yes, I'm a descendant of Henry II, King of England and Duke of Normandy (if my tree is correct).
It's one of the discoveries I'm made when making my tree.

Congratulations Matthieu on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand Pre-1700 Profiles. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines laid out on that page.
As you have been a member of WikiTree for a few weeks now, I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site.
Has the New Member How-To been helpful, or left you with any questions?

PS: Tags (names in green boxes) are clickable links to a page of other people who have that tag and links to resources. They also control the activity which is included in the weekly emails from WikiTree. To get the best results, add tags for the surname and spelling variation of interest on your Followed Tags page. You can have up to 20 total and can delete some if you start receiving irrelevant information.
If you have any questions about how WikiTree works, let me know. To contact me, please log in to WikiTree and go to your profile. Use the ‘Reply’ link below my comment to be sure I will be notified.
