Esther was born in 1900. She was the daughter of Heiman Sanders Leefsma and Magalina Mossel. She passed away in Amsterdam and was buried in Diemen, Noord-Holland.

Esther was een dochter van Heiman Sanders Leefsma en Magalina Mossel. Ze was hun veertiende en laatste kind. Haar vader had een textielzaak aan de Langewal in Gorredijk. Ze is met haar ouders en oudere zus Henriëtta op 15 september 1916 naar Rosariumstraat 55 in Apeldoorn verhuisd. Haar vader was toen 62 en heeft de zaak aan zijn zoons Jozef en Salomon overgedragen. Esther is op 18 oktober 1922 met Levie Slager getrouwd in Apeldoorn. Hij is op 8 januari 1932 overleden. Ze is vervolgens op 21 augustus 1935 met Leopold Lion getrouwd in Apeldoorn. Het echtpaar is op 22 november 1937 naar Vespuccistraat 63 in Amsterdam verhuisd. Haar laatste adres was Marcusstraat 23 te Amsterdam. [1]
