Biography

Sarah, the wife of Otho Lee, lived in Stonewall Township, Frederick County, Virginia with their three children, George, age 4; Robert, age 2; and Gertrude, born in February.[1]The enumerator indicated Otho and Sarah had been married in the prior year. No record of the marriage has been located.

Lee is being used as her surname until her birth name can be found. It is possible she was born enslaved.

Son Willie W. was born about 1891.[2]

Sarah likely died prior to about 1896 when Otho married his second wife, Fannie.[2] Son Robert named his parents on his marriage license.[3]
