Wife Hannah Pryke. - She was a convict that came out on the "Atwick" January 23rd 1838. There was a book written about the Scottish women on board that trip by Prof. Lucy Flood of the Hobart University. She married James Lee, he was also a convict, he came out on the "Waterloo" 24th March 1835. He was luckier than most he was picked up when he docked and was taken as a man servant and "Stuffer of Birds" by a Convict Supervisor. They married 26th June 1843
