Biography

When Alma Dayer Le Baron Jr was born on April 2, 1918, in Mesa, Arizona,^[1] his father, Dayer LeBaron, was 32 and his mother,Maud McDonald, was 25. LeBaron's childhood was spent in Mesa, Arizona.^[2]. He married Maria De La Luz Melchor Buitron in Chalco de Díaz Covarrubias, México, Mexico.^[3] They had eight children in 18 years. He was excommunicated from the LDS church due to working with his brothers to launch a new church based on prophecies of the LDS foundation. He died on June 29, 2009, in Ejido Chihuahua, Baja California, Mexico, at the age of 91.^[4]

Name format changed over time. Birth record said Alma Dayer Le Baron Jr ^[10] with a space between Le Baron. At some point he adopted the Spanish surname format of Paternal Maternal, so he was Alma Dayer Le Baron Mc Donald and married Maria de la Luz Melchor Buiton. His children were LeBaron Melchor. The exception was USA Selective Service registration in 1940 which matched his US birth record.
