Josephine (Lazio) Palmisano migrated from Italy to USA.
Giuseppa was born in 1857 in Termini Imerese, Palermo, Sicily, Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. She was the daughter of Salvatore Lazio and Maria Anna Mercurio.[1]
She married Lorenzo Palmisano in 1881.[2] She sailed to the United States with her son Michele on the ship Gottardo, arriving in May 1885,[3] and the two joined Lorenzo in Chicago.
Giuseppa and Lorenzo had several more children before his death in 1905.[4] She passed away in 1950 in Racine Wisconsin, where her daughter and son-in-law had been living.[5]
