Emma (Lawson) McLean was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)
Emma Christina Lawson was born in 1858, her birth registered that year in Pleasant Creek, Victoria, the daughter of John Lawson and Elizabeth McKeand. [1]
Marriage. On the 13th June, Emma married Archibald McLean at her mother's residence in Matlock, Victoria. [2]

- M'LEAN— LAWSON.— On the 13th June, at the residence of the bride's mother, All Nations, Matlock, by the Rev. R. S. Joyce, Walhalla, Archibald M'Lean, of Red Jacket, to Emma Christina, eldest daughter of the late John Lawson. [3]
