Biography

Catherine Laverty (married name Neeson) was born around 1834, the daughter of Rosie (McIlhatten) Laverty and James Laverty.

She married John Neeson in 1856 in Ireland. [1]

Catherine and John emigrated to Victoria, Australia in 1857 on the ship Mary Ann.[2]

Their children together were:

Catherine died in 1887 in Nareen, Victoria, aged 53 years.[8]
