Tommy Lasorda is Notable.
Tommy Lasorda has Italian Roots.
Thomas was born in 1927. He was the son of Sabatino "Sam" Lasorda and Carmella Covatta Lasorda. Sam was an immigrant from Abruzzo, a region of southern Italy, who emigrated to the United States. Carmella was born in Pennsylvania and grew up in Pottstown.
Tommy was the second of five sons born to Sam and Carmella.
He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame as a manager in 1997.[1]
He died in 2021. [2]
