Biography
Ethan was born in 1782. He passed away in 1862.
Ethan L. Lapham (Asa, Joshua, John, John) was born 28 Jan 1782, son of Asa and Hannah Aldrich Lapham. He married Milly Bowen. They lived east of Macedon NY and were settled in Wayne Co., Mich. by 1826. He was a well known Quaker preacher and a member of the Adrian Monthly Meeting with 25 other Laphams. Children:
- I Lavina married Alva Smith, Detroit, Michigan.
- ll Amy married Mr Powers.
- 111 Norton
- IV David born 1806, Macedon, N. Y., d. 1854, aged 48 years. He moved to Calhoun Co. Mich., 1852.
- V Cynthia married Mr Walton.
- VI Huldah
- VII Ethan born 1814.
- VIII Amanda
- IX Luther married Deborah Lapham, Northville, MI[1]
