Lorenzo S. Lapham son of Horace Lapham & Anna (Strong) Lapham was born 13 Mar 1837 in Scipio New York. He graduated from the Albany Law School, and practiced law at Council Bluffs, Iowa.^[1][2]

Research Notes

A family member stated recently that "Ren" moved to Iowa to avoid serving in the Civil War. I do not know where that information came from.
