Biography

Melvin Langlois was born on October 30, 1925, in Phlox, Wisconsin, United States. He was the eldest of thirteen children of Ephraim and Myrtle Langlois. In 1930, the family lived in Greendale, Wisconsin. By 1940, they were living in Saukville.

Melvin served in the US Army in the Korean War. He married in September 1969 in Port Washington, Wisconsin, and had a daughter. He lived in Belgium, Wisconsin, and was a member of the village's American Legion post. He worked as a molder.

Melvin passed away on February 10, 1973, at Saint Alphonsus Hospital in Port Washington. He is buried at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Saukville.
