Biography

Sydney Lane was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)

Sydney C P Lane was born in 1896 in Lismore, Colony of New South Wales, son of Albert Lane (~1858–1946) and Sarah Tulk (1864–1937).[1]

Sidney served in World War I (service number 5411).[2]

Sidney was killed in action on 22 August 1916 in France, but his death is registered in Queensland.[3][4][5]
