Biography

Maud Beatrice Lancaster (often spelt Maude) was born on 28th September 1892. She was the daughter of John Lancaster and Jane Cooper.^[1]

On 10th January 1923 at the Hendra Baptist Church, she married Sidney Charles Shirley-Smith.^[2][3]

The couple lived with Maude's mother in Clayfield.^[4] They had at least one daughter before divorcing in 1949.^[5]

Maude passed away on 27th November 1985, aged 93, and is buried in the Nundah Cemetery.^[6][7]
