Biography

Robert Lakeland was born in 1850 in England, the son of Maria (Ward) Lakeland and Thomas Lakeland.

He was married to Isabella Gleeson.^{[citation needed]} Their son was:

• Albert Lakeland (1896–1969)^[1]

Robert died on 1 June 1926 in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia, aged 76 years.^[2] His remains were buried at Ballarat New Cemetery and Crematorium.^[3]
