Biography

Luce Lagrave was born on 8 Jul 1813 and was baptized the next day in Saint-Pierre de Sorel parish in Richelieu. She was the daughter of Alexis Lagrave and Charlotte Desbrosses. Godparents at Luce's baptism were Emmanuel Hus and Marie Goin. At age 18 Luce married Jean Baptiste Coutu on 28 Feb 1832 in Saint-Pierre de Sorel parish. There were 12 known children born into this marriage.
