It is me B.Mulkey again. Julia LaDouceur BTW was daughter of Jean-Baptiste LaDouceur and Elisabeth Miville. Julia was born in Ste-Elisabeth D'Autray,Quebec in 1823. Bob or somebody please do a genealogy on here for Pierre Vaillancourt b. 1817 in Maskinonge,Quebec to Joseph and Veronique ( Drolet) Vaillancourt whom I just wrote about. I do not have the know-how to do it myself right now. Thanks!

Hi. I too am directly descended from people named Vaillancourt and LaDouceur. Pierre Vaillancourt ( as Peter Vancour) married Julia LaDouceur in Highgate, Vt. In 1840. His birth or baptismal certificate is recently been put on ancestrylibrary.com. He was baptized Oct. 18, 1840 in Maskinonge,Quebec. His folks were Joseph Vaillancourt and Veronique Drolet ( Drollette?sp?). Peter Vancour died in Middlefield,Mass. in 1903. His wife died three years before in Oxford, Mass .

Take note of that. B. Mulkey

Hi Bob,

I'd like to share with you a photo of your 4th gen great Aunt Marguerite, as I am related to her husband distantly!

Just in the midst of linking my profile to him, completing several historical generations here on wiki!

Hi Bob!

We are connected through Therese Lorain and Joseph Juneau, they were my 4th great-grandparents. I'm descended through their son Edouard Juneau and Marcelline Sauve. I know where these 3rd great-grandparents of mine are buried minus a headstone in rural Red Lake County, MN.

Bonsoir Bob,

THOMAS QUINCHELLIN aka KINSHELLA, KINGSLEY 1805 / MARGUERITE ELEONORE RENAUD aka LOCAS 1811. CATHERINE QUINCHELLIN aka KINSHELLA, KINGSLEY 1835-1898 / DAVID VAILLANCOURT 1826-1829.

Hi Bob, nice to hear so quickly from you and work together on these Brosseau corrections. I have not entered much info on Wiki but will try to do my best as I concentrate on my large 55k tree on Ancestry. I have probably the majority of the Brosseau, Charlebois, Dufresne families with most sourced from Drouin. A lot of info to to transfer in time, but will give it a try.

Thanks again, we will probably be comparing notes again at some point. Richard

Thanks Bob, great find on Jean Baptiste Perrault's baptism record. I must have looked at that page 3x and still not seen it! This seems to make more sense as it matches the birth year given (by the editor) in his son's memoir.

I'm not sure why the profile wasn't opened, but have processed it again, as well as for Agnes. M.

Thanks, Bob!

If you want to take over those profiles, I'm all for it :D I'm hoping you can trace back and connect my dad. I still have a zillion sources to add in to everyone.

Remarkable, because they are a family group... J.-B. and Charles Croteau, Jr. & Sr. and J.-B.'s F-I-L, La Ronde. I guess I should be looking for their cousins![1]

Hi

Wish you a Happy New Year. May 2018 bring you all you need to be happy.

Congratulation for adding your contributions in December. Whatever the quantity of your contributions, they all count. As we always say "Quality is better than quantity" to make a great family tree.

Thank you for being a Wikitreer,

Bon Jour... Thanks for your note. Curious and confused by this... "Souliere, Marguerite" [1] and "Louis Chevrette and his Métis wife Philomène Dusomes..." (One of five Métis Dusome sisters on the voyage with their spouses; she is listed as the spouse of Louis.)page 2 I hadn't noticed the discrepancy before. (Two wives?) I so wish that my Native and Métis ancestors had been similarly recorded with their spouses, JB Croteau and his father-in-law, PF Denys de La Ronde, at that time.
