Biography

Thomas was born in 1844. He was the son of Ansel Ladd and Mehitable Meader.

He married Wealthea Ford (1845- aft. 1920) on 31 Dec 1864 in Vienna, Kennebec, ME.^[1] Among their many children, most of whom died young:

The family relocated to Bristol, MA before 1870. He was employed in a shop that made shovels (1870-1880).

He was a superintendent of roads in 1900. Wealthea reported she had 10 children, with only one still living. In 1910, T. Frank Ladd was working in a shoe factory; a granddaughter Mildred was living with them, and Wealthy was the mother of 8, with one living. He was working as a shoemaker in 1920; Wealthy, his son Charles and granddaughter Mildred were also in the house.

He passed away after 1920.
