She departed Hamburg for the United States on 15 October 1857 on the ship Louis Napoleon. [3] She was traveling with her husband Daniel and their children Mary and Ludwig. [3]

She arrived in New York on 23 November 1857. [4]

She appeared in the 1880 US Census in Green Garden, Will County, Illinois. [1] She was living with her husband Daniel. [1]

She appeared in the 1900 US Census in Monee, Will County, Illinois. [2] She was living with her daughter Henriette Schwiesow. [2]

She died on 9 July 1904 in Monee, Will County, Illinois. [5] She was buried on 11 July 1904 at Saint Paul Evangelical Reformed Church Cemetery in Monee, Will County, Illinois. [5]
