Mrs. R.L. Branden Dies Saturday. 90-Year-Old Resident Taken by Heart Attack; Lived Here 67 Years. Mrs. Pauline Branden, 90, a resident of Kingman, 67, years, died at her home at 258 Avenue G West at 5 o’clock Saturday morning. She had been in poor health since she suffered a heart attack two years ago. She was 90 years old. Funeral services were held at the Livingston chapel Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Earl Christofferson, pastor of the Christian church. Burial was in Walnut Hill cemetery. Mrs. Branden was born at Clearfield,

Pa., August 13, 1862. Her maiden name was Pauline F. Kuhnley. Her future husband W.J. Branden, also resided at Clearfield, and after he came to Kansas in 1884 she joined him later and they were married in Kingman June 7, 1885. Shortly after their marriage they moved to the home where Mrs. Branden lived at the time of her death. During their young years, both Mr. and Mrs. Branden were among the active business and social citizens of Kingman. They engaged in the hotel business and at different times had managed the old Royal, Brunswick and Laclede hotels. They were also in the grocery business at one time. Mr. Branden died in August, 1918. Mrs. Branden is survived by her son, R.L. Branden of Kingman and four grandchildren, J.W. (Billy) Branden of Meade, R.L., James F., and Robert C. Branden of Kingman.”
