• NOTE: The LNB of Kristensen is not yet proved but offered by several other genealogy sites. The bygdebok on Hoddøen farm needs research to see if this is proved out. His name (so far) in the records is just Sevald Hodøen.

At the baptism of Elen, dau of Biorn? Stadland, one of the Godparents listed is a man named Seval Hodøen. Could this be Olluf Sevaldsen's father?

On the opposite page is Olluf's 1799 marriage. Also listed as Godparent is a Lisbeth Hodøen. The woman Olluf is marrying is named Lisbeth Jacobsen with no farm given.

Sevald is not mentioned at either YtterHodøen or InderHodøen farm on the 1701 census but son Olluf Sevaldsen is listed at YtterHodøen. Has his father Sevald died? Moved?  :: View the Record - free - left, bottom

Another listing in 1695 - top / left, and at the end of the paragraph, is a cautioner for an engagement - Seval and Sevald Hoddoen.; right side bottom another Godparent.

Also on this page on 4th Trinity, Sevald Hodoen is a Godparent.

Sevald's wife's name "may" be Ellen or Ellener Jensdatter. This might be her death in 1699. Ellenr Jensd. Hodoen - age 67 1/2 (b. c 1632)

• NOTE: Who is this who died in 1695: Christen Sevoldsen Hodoen age: 20 (or 20-something?). Could this be a son of Sevald Christensen b. c1675?
