Biography

Father of 16 Children He and his wife farmed in Plain, Sauk County on his father and grandfather’s land which in 2017 was honored by the State of Wisconsin as a Sesquicentennial Farm in continuous , working and ownership by the Kraemer Family, immigrant Paulus Kraemer from Irlach, Germany, split between sons, John and Joseph, Joseph’s half going to Sylvester, then to his son Allan, then to his son Anthony, who also has a future heir, Adrian Kraemer. He would give interviews to the local news on “what an odd duck” Frank Lloyd Wright was, he was a “no good, doggone kook” who didn’t pay his bills, didn’t take good care of his animals and most likely was a murderer! He would give his opinion if anyone asked. He was active into his 90’s, his senior home in Spring Green, Wisconsin, abutted a golf course. Instead of walking his farm fields, he would shag golf balls on morning walks, once getting into trouble for grabbing a ball that was still in play. He loved his 77 grandchildren dearly, and was even able to meet many of his great grandchildren and great grandchildren, now numbering close to 200.
