Theodora Komnenos was a member of the aristocracy in Europe.

Biography

Theodora was a relative of the reigning Byzantine emperor; her parentage remains speculative. She was Duchess Consort of Austria for about twenty-seven years (from 1203 marriage to her husband's 1230 death); the widowed Theodora took Holy Orders before her death[1].

Her parentage is unknown; I had previously marked her maternity as uncertain, but if no one objects, I am going to disconnect. Her LNAB should also be changed to Unknown as opposed to Komnenos-please see "Genealogics" by Leo van de Pas and Ian Fettes (surname per ES called Angela); Cawley's "Medieval Lands" indicates multiple possible relationships to the Angelos family, though the correct one is conjectural.

Per Medieval Lands (by Cawley), her parentage is currently unknown and can only be guessed at given the current source material available. The current maternity she has shown on WT is chronologically impossible. I'm marking her mother as uncertain, but she should perhaps be disconnected.
