Hi Eugene,

I see that you are working on the Susannah Reneau-91 profile post merge. Very much appreciated, sir! I placed the 1850 census cource document link under Residents post merge so it can be easily seen. Feel free to move and reference it if you like. I also see that most of the "Sources" for her profile are dead links. I understand that you are new here but have made a great deal of contributions, and we thank you. It would be a tremendous help to all of us here now and for the researchers and family members that come here after us if the sources linked to actual documents. Thank you and keep up the good work. Let me know if I can be of any assistance.

How's everything going?

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Vicky Majewski ~ WikiTree Mentor

In the past year Wiki-tree has developed a tool which analyzes the database which lists many, many odd conditions on the profiles. Read about it here

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Database_Errors

You can see the results on any particular person from their profile display. On the top right corner under the profile id 'Gring-17' select 'error report' from the drop-down list.

Hi Eugene,

Welcome to WikiTree!

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? When you confirm your email address, you’ll have an opportunity to volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests.

Welcome to the family! We’re really glad you’re here.
