Maria Franzisca Koester was born May 14, 1797, baptized the 15th[1],in Drasenbeck, Remblinghausen, Meschede, Westphalia, Prussia, Germany. Her parents were Anton Koester and Anna Maria Wegener (called Strenge). She married Franziscus Josephus Mertens February 1, 1834 in Calle, Meschede, Westphalia, Prussia, German.[2] She passed away January 1, 1869 in Olpe, Kalle, Meschede, Westphalia, Prussia, Germany.[3]
