Biography

Elizabeth Kyvette was born probably in January 1601/2. She was the daughter of Thomas Knyvett and Elizabeth Bacon. She was baptised at the parish church of Ashwellthorpe on 31 January 1601/2: ^[1]

Elizabeth married Thomas Pettus of Rackheath, Norfolk at Ashwellthorpe on 27 March 1627. ^[2][3]

She passed away on 28 January 1653/4.^[4]

Her memorial at All Saints Church in Rackheath reads

Research Notes

There is a memorial for her son John at All Saints Church in Rackheath.^[5] The inscription reads:

He married Mary Burwell one
of the Coheiresses of Nicholas

1698 in ye 58th year of his Age.
