Ida married John Francis Snedeker on April 29, 1869 in Brooklyn, New York. They had at least one child together, Amy Ida.
Ida died suddenly on January 18, 1872 at her home in Brooklyn, New York. Her funeral was held at the Seventh Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church in Brooklyn, New York. She is buried at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York.
