The SC-John Knox who married Elizabeth Gaston (daughter of William and Mary Olivet (Lemon) Gaston) was the son of John Knox Sr of Glasgow and this is NOT the NC-John Knox Jr that was the son of John & Sarah of Mecklenburg NC
The SC-John Knox who married Elizabeth Gaston emigrated to Chester SC along with his brothers and their families and ***you are taking the SC-John Knox Jr emigration record*** and claiming it to be the emigration record of NC-John Knox Jr (son of John & Sarah of Steele Creek NC0... merging the SC Knox-line emigration record with the NC Knox-Line.
Then you merge NC-John Sr (who married Sarah of Steele, Mecklenburg, North Carolina) as the same as John Sr *who was of Glasgow and the father of the SC-Knox Line* because ***you find the baptism record of SC-John Knox Jr*** so you make John, who married Sarah MNU born in Glasgow and give him the wrong parents
The NC-John Knox that married Sarah MNU is not the father of SC-John Knox that married Elizabeth Gaston.... you are mixing up/merging the NC Knox-line withe SC Knox-line and terribly destroying the lineage of the NC Knox-line by giving NC-John Knox Jr the wife, children and father of SC-John Knox Jr
John Knox is on "A List of Those Buried in Historic Steele Creek Burial Grounds". The dates begin in 1760; therefore, his death in 1777 is not too early for inclusion in this category.
