Biography

Albert William "Bill" Kleine, was born on February 1, 1942 to Albert Henry William Kleine and Juanita Imogene Ruhlman in Milan, Indiana.

He served in the US Army from 1960 thru 1963. He was stationed in Germany before receiving an early discharge to help care for his ailing father. He then married Joyce Webster and became step-father to her two children. Bill additionally became father to his daughters Juanita (Nina) and Honi while residing in Milan, Indiana. Bill's first marriage ended in divorce and he then became step-father to Joel, the son of Sue Knox, and together they had a son, Will, while residing in Moores Hill, Indiana. Bill lived in Moores Hill until his death from lung cancer in 2013.

Bill was always very active in both the Milan Legion and later the Moores Hill Legion, helping to enlarge and make the legion more accessible to the older veterans. For all his hard work and dedication, the Moores Hill Legion presented him with a life time membership award.[1]
