Johann Wilhelmwas born on 25 May 1851 and baptised on 9 June 1851 in Lobsens, Wirsitz, Provinz Posen, Preußen, Deutsches Reich.[1] He was the son of Fred Klawitter and Juliana Luetke.
Mathilde Boehlicke and Johann Wilhelm Klawitter were married about 1875.
Wilh was a passenger in 1882 in Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland, United States[2]
In 1890 Johann was a machinist for Phoehix Manufacturing Co.. He later became shop foreman. He was naturalized on 1 Mar 1899 in Eau Claire. A charter member of the Germania Singing Society. [3][4]
He passed away in 9 May 1921.[5] William was buried in Saint Johns Lutheran Cemetery, Eau Claire, Eau Claire County, Wisconsin, United States.[6][7]
