Biography

Caroline was born in 1835. She was the daughter of Johann Jobst Henrich Kixmueller (1803-1885) and Anne Marie Luise Wilhelmine Henriette Thies (1802-1872), according to ancestry.com research.

She immigrated with her parents to settle in Indiana. She married Herman Mengedoht about 1859 and had the following children, according to FamilySearch:

She passed away in 1893. She is buried in Indian Prairie Baptist Church Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana.
