Biography
Daniel Kitchen was born on February 11, 1799 in Pennsylvania, United States, son of Wheeler Kitchen (1755–1835) and Sarah Hickson (1759–1840).
Daniel married Elsie Smith. They had two children, Amos Hickson Kitchen and Samuel Kitchen, before her death in 1832.
Daniel married Hannace Reece, daughter of Nahemiah Reece (1771-1815) and Mary Eves (1770-1858), and widow of Moses McHenry (1800-1830) about 1834. They had about seven children: Emily, Mary Ann, Sarah Angeline, Sylvester, Savilla, Nehemiah, and Matilda Jane.
Daniel died on April 14, 1872 in Pennsylvania, United States, aged 73. He was buried in Ikelers Cemetery, Greenwood Township, Columbia County, Pennsylvania.[1]
