Biography

When Catherine Kitchen was born on May 23, 1797, in New Jersey, her father, Joseph Kitchen, was 33, and her mother, Catherine Gulick, was 26.

She married James Gano on 19 September 1815 in Berkeley County, Virginia, and they had nine children together.

James passed away in 1837. She married Oliver P. Armbrester in about 1838 in Bedington, Berkeley County, WV, and they had two children together.

She died on July 27, 1873, in Berkeley, West Virginia, having lived a long life of 76 years, and was buried there.

Catharine passed away in 27 Jul 1873 in Shanghai, Berkeley, West Virginia and was buried at Shanghai Cemetery in Shanghai.
