Marriage 1841 Sigglesthorne?
Peter's wife Elizabeth died leaving 2 young daughters' and he marries Jane Kirby before the census of 1841 probably in Sigglesthorne and certainly in that area. [1]
1841 Seaton with Wassand
In 1841 Peter Acklam is in Seaton with his 69 year old mother (called Elizabeth like his late wife), but his wife is absent. A sister? Ann Acklam 24 is present, and Peter's two daughters Sarah 6 and Mary 4. We are not told whether Peter is single, widowed or married, but no Jane is present, except a Jane Kirby 25 in the previous household of publican John Kirby 35. [2]
