Biography

Elizabeth was born in Llangiwg, Glamorgan in 1863. She was christened there on 10 May 1863. She was the daughter of Francis and Susan Kingdon. [1]
She married Kish Close, a widower, in Cardiff in 1890. [2] Kish had three surviving children from his previous marriage, and had five more children with Elizabeth.
The family was at 39 Rutland Street, Cardiff in 1891. [3] In 1901 the couple were at 205 Penarth Road, Cardiff with six children and Kish's mother Caroline. [4]
In 1911 and 1921 they were recorded as living at 26 Salisbury Road, Cardiff [5][6]
Elizabeth died in Cardiff in 1932, aged 68.[7]
