Biography

Rachel was baptized September 13 1665 at New Amsterdam, New York.

Rachel Kierstede was named as wife in her husband's will dated 25 June 1710 which was proved 4 May 1711. He named her as executrix. [1]

I agree. I can find no source for the 1700 death date. I do see her on the birth record for her son Jacobus in 1703.

I wonder if she could be the Rachel Kierstede who was a witness at the 17 January 1711 baptism of Cathalina Kierstede.

The 1700 death date seems to be incorrect. She had two sons born after that date. Some online trees say that she was still living in May 1711, but I haven't yet found a good source showing that she outlived her husband and was living in 1711.
